This is the most popular form of solar water heating because of its simplistic design and long lifespan. Water is heated in the panels and rises by natural thermosiphon to be stored in the stainless steelstorage cylinder. There are no mechanical parts or operations in this process. The casing of the storage cylinder is tough, hail resistant Colorbond and is available in a variety of colours.
The panels have a toughened glass surface, copper risers, and are also enclosed in a durable Colorbond casing.
