This is the most popular form of solar water heating because of its simplistic design and long lifespan. Glycol, or antifreeze mixture, is circulated from the collectors through a heat exchange in the storage tank, transferring heat into the water. Because of this process, the LX Series is ideally suited to the frost areas of South Africa.

There are no mechanical parts or operations in this process. The casing of the storage cylinder is tough, hail resistant Colorbond and is available in a variety of colours.
